First a few words to thank all the people we saw at Aurora Festival and who were so friendly to us. Now we are full of energy to continue the year 2008 with Suntrip, and further!
Thanks to the Aurora team for delivering such a great festival with so many great artists and definitely thanks to the Ultimae crew who are the most friendly family we've ever met and who made the Ambient stage so special over these 4 days.
I bet those who were on the dancefloor suring Filteria's act will never forget it, for it was a phenomenal performance full of new and remixed supermelodic tracks with a now rock-solid production! The outstanding audience feedback gave him much motivation to complete his 3rd album.

In a few days Aurora Festival starts. We've been promoting this festival for several reasons:
- wonderful lineup
- the best ambient stage ever
- no dark music
- sunny place
- Filteria is playing there
All artists we know have received their tickets, so it seems the Festival is going to be as massive as written on paper !
By the way Filteria is leaving for Greece tomorrow, and he's flying with a hell of a liveset in his bag. I won't disclose too much but the odds are that there are:
- 1 or 2 tracks from his first album completely remixed
- 2 tracks from his second album, also heavily live-remixed
- 4 complete new tracks, one was made almost especially for this festival.
Will he play Birds Lingva Franca? No. The Jikooah Remix that's just released? No. 3rd album exclusive tracks? Yes! Killer content? Oh yes definitely, and sweeter and better mixed than anything you've heard before from him before!
As usual, this liveset is exclusive, never played before. Be prepared to tear your dreads off!!!

We are pleased to announce two exclusive interviews of RA and Suntrip Records will be broadcasted on the Serbian radio "Radio AS" during the D-Trance show next monday, close after midnight.
D-Trance is a radio show based in the Novi Sad town, the second biggest in Serbia. The Show is run by Davor Vujacic a.k.a. DJ Psychomental (dj & producer since 1996) and Danijela Dostan a.k.a. DJ Denny (dj since 2000).
The radio airs on 101,2 MHz and 101.6 MHz covering the whole Vojvodina region.

We wanted to thank you for all your support and constructive reviews on our latest release. Oh, sure it's impossible to please everyone, but at least we keep delivering original music, far, far away from the dull tunes released everyday, and give you refreshing enlightening alternatives.

Ah let's answer an interesting question you may be asking yourself: "why is this album SUNCD07, released after SUNCD10 and called 9th ? Can't you guys count till 10 ?"
Ok firsyt "9th" has nothing to do with Suntrip's releases numbering, and it its meaning is explained in the album inlay. And this release was indeed planned for SUNCD07, just after Twist Dreams, and we already had obtained a barcode when the artists asked for more time. So we simply kept the catnr+barcode instead of releasing it as SUNCD11 while leaving a hole in our numbering.
Makes me think SUNCD11 will probably be announced at the end of the summer. This is another prime number, and we promise VERY uplifting music in it, if you see what I mean !!!
First of all, thanks for voting for the Solar Fields track on the BBC radio show. He made it, and got played on Mr Pathaan broadcast thanks to you !
Now the big news: RA will be in the shelves in a little more than 2 weeks from now. And here are the 2 minute extracts.
What can we posibly say on this wonder ? The tracks work like bombs on the dancefloors. 9th is truly the essence of Magical Melodic Goa Trance ! Eastern melodies, deep soundscapes and blissful floating atmospheres, the perfect material to enter the Summer'08 with a large smile !

- RA, them again, are going to play Live and also an Ambient set at Heron festival in Belgium, on the 5th and 6th of July. This is a unique chance to hear their marvellous new material open air with lots of sound ! Lots of other good artists will be present too. Check the flyers here and here.
- We're partipating in the Old is Gold 3 party organisation, also in Belgium, on may 24th, featuring an exclusive Live act & DJ set by Shidapu (Israel), and DJ sets by Anoebis (Suntrip), Ben vs. Super G (Suntrip), and Inada (Lunar Society). Oldschool vibes 100% confirmed !!!
- Filteria is playing at the Aurora Festival in Greece in August, and if you like him you'd better be here: he's full of inspiration lately to finish his album, I got new tracks...and I fell on my knees.
- By the way a new ambient track called "Float Away, Beyond, Disappear" will replace "Back to Earth", the first track Jannis wrote for his 3rd album. How come ? Well, I agree, "Float away..." is truly one step above. "Back to Earth", which you probably never heard, was, let's say, an Ambient-Acid track, and will stay on the abum, but remixed at 140+ bpm with a wonderful Transwave touch...you lucky people !
- Ah we're "sorry" to annouce our 2 compilations Apsara, Twist Dreams, as well as Khetzal's Corolle album are now totally out of stock. No repress is planned, these releases are 2 or 3 years old now. Else Opus Iridium is still widely available but it's selling very very fast, and we don't know how long we'll be able to feed the demand !
- We have a design ready for new t-shirts, but no factory. We need your help ! We're looking for a factory that can press 50 or 100 t-shirts, male/female mix, sizes mix, colors mix, with flex prcessing for a reasonable price. Email us if you know some good factory.
- And last but not least our 4-year old website that served us so well is going to be replaced in a few weeks. First just looking like this one, though a little more elegant, it will be upgraded a little later to comprise an online shop, and lots of surprises inside.

Hello everyone, Opus Iridium was completed in the first days of the year, Tim Schuldt mastered it 2 weeks ago, and yesterday we sent masters & artwork to the press.
We expect the compilation to be out on March 13th !
For those who haven't heard about it yet Opus Iridium means "Rainbow Artwork" or "Artwork for the Rainbows", or even "Rainbow Crafted" in latin. It's a compilation especially made to celebrate the 10th Suntrip cd. Because of that we wanted to give something special, A double cd!
One cd is filled with ambient music and the other cd is positive dance floor music. Several of these tracks were made especially for the occasion.

So where are we now ?
We are trying to complete our 10th release celebration compilation Opus Iridium. The downtempo cd is complete and is a real pleasure to listen. The uptempo cd misses 2 more tracks and then we can send to mastering and press. The release date may be sliding to march though.
Then Ra and Filteria albums will come (at last). You can expect MAJOR kick-ass from scandinavia in 2008.
And other artists are working very seriously for us. Merr0w is tearing his hair off to make a killer album for us, and we have other artists with great projects in store.
Since we wanted to have a particular atmosphere in Opus Iridium, some tracks we thought were excellent didn't make it there, so maybe another compilation will see the light later in the year, this is far from being sure, but beware, if it happened, it would be crazy !!!
Parties ? Hmmm yes something will happen. Anoebis is trying to setup some small chill party for the Opus Iridium release and Chris of Trance Dimensions keeps on booking our artists for his parties. Thanks to him. Check that one on march 15 in Antwerpen with Afgin and California Sunshine from Israel Some 100% Suntrip uptempo party may happen too but it's still a vague project.
If we're taking a look at other outsider labels, we can see Twisted is getting OTT's Skylon released and Dragonfly has some great stuff in progress too...(hush). Else, no doubt there will be an avalanche of releases with some very creative releases.
As you may have guessed, Suntrip is hosting the Goa room, and look who's gonna be there...
- Dimension 5 are back and have been preparing this performance for weeks now. Yes there will be unreleased stuff !
- Goasia will present his new album "From Other Spaces" on Suntrip.
- DJ Anoebis will tease you with some tunes we selected for our next compilation.

The Goasia album From Other Spaces is officially scheduled for November 12th '07.
That was kind of a rush to have this release ready on time, but it's such a superpack of wonders that it would have been a shame to release it later !
At the moment I'm writing this, the object of this avalanche of superlatives is flying from Tim Schuldt's mastering lair to the press factory. We can't wait ourselves to have it for real in our hands !

Also, during the next 6 weeks before release, you can prepare to this awesome CD with the 2 minutes long extracts we've put on the same page.
Merr0w is currently working on his album, codename "Born Underwater" (should be SUNCD12 or so, be patient). As the title lets you guess, the whole album will have the ~water~ as a theme. The four first tracks I've listened to are very promising. Melodies all the way and lots of trippy layers. He improved his style a lot, so we can expect a great release.
Sooner or later he will play a total different live act to test his new tracks, and older music won't be heard anymore. That's why he he gave me one of these as a free track for you to download: Pixelized Sight.
This is surprising : almost every person who's trying to order the Dimension5 album from us is asking if we have some stock left !!!
Thing is the sales have been going very good and several online shops have been out of stock again and again in the last 2 months.

We're very picky when it comes to releasing some music, but this time, woah, woah, woaaah. I listened to most of the tracks, and I was flabbergasted !! Prepare to a magic piece of psychedelic music, an album that deserves its name !
It will be SUNCD09, and you're warned now: it will blow your mind.
It can be seen it's our reissue this seller is trying to sell for $43.
The very same cd can bought for $14 in many online shops, including order@suntriprecords.com. Don't hesitate, we have 1000 copies left !
No doubt this guy selling this cd on eBay is playing on the fact the original issue is super rare and is trying to confuse any unaware guy and make money on his back.
Since there is our label name and catNr written, this auction is legal ; nevertheless, we hope no-one will bid on such auctions and that will discourage such "limit" practices.
First let su thank you all for the AWESOME feedback we got for the Dimension5 reissue. Guys from all over the world have been contacting us, asking for questions or ordering cds.
Also, whoever you are, thank you for advertising us in the USA, we've never been so much in contact with US Psytrancers like that !!!

In short:
- Ra - the 9th. It may still be delayed, but if Christer the Master thinks his tracks need extra attention, we believe him and there will be a better result for YOU !
- K.o.B Album. The Filteria side project standing for "Kind of Behaviour" with less melodic tracks focusing more on the organic and weird side of Psytrance. It should be released this autumn.
- Goasia album. Balint and Kanc have agreed with us about a full length album. A mix of trance and ambient, as we are used from Goasia! This is planned for the end of the year!
- The mysterious new compilation... We are new elaborating our new VA concept at the moment. I say concept because we wanna release a unique piece of art, musically and visually speaking. Expect the best from our usual artists and also a few great ones we'd like to invite on this project.
- Online distribution. This was supposed to happen, but we found ourselves struck between our official exclusive distributor that isn't acting online, and all those online distributors that dislike techno music. It will happen, be patient...
- How about a party ? Well we're tempted, we've set the lineup of our dreams, but we miss a good room. So if someone is aware of a 400-600 people room anywhere in Belgium flanders, far from the inhabitants, but quite close to a station, we're really interested.
