Dear Suntrippers, dear Boomers,
Yes, for the 5th or 6th edition in a row, Suntrip was chosen to be Boom Ambassadors! Like 2 years ago, we'll sell tickets to Belgium and Luxembourg residents only. You'll be limited to 5 tickets per request.
The difference this year is that the ambassador sales will take place on October 1st, one week before the mainstream sales. Two years ago we got 500 emails and phone calls during the first night so it will definitely be worse this time. Although we still don't know what our quota is at the time of the writing of this post...
Because of that we've stopped answering to everyone individually, and we created an online form that will be accessible from October 1st 09:00 CET on https://boom2020.suntriprecords.com .
If you call or write us (email, messenger, sms) asking for tickets, we'll invite you to go to the online form. Also, be aware that this is me (fabien) taking care of this matter at Suntrip, and I'm behind the french phone number and the email address you can see on Boom's ambassador list, so if you reach out to Joske Anoebis, he will redirect you to me (or rather to the online form).
The process is fairly easy: from the moment the form is available, you can choose the amount of adults & kids tickets and you need to give a contact email. Then 2 things can happen:
Note: like usual, we are not taking any "reservation" in advance.
In the meantime, you can read Boom's tickets infos and terms and conditions.
Now something very important: Boom stopped physical tickets after the 2014 edition, so our role as ambassadors has an increased focus on answering whichever question you may have, would it be logistic, health related, kids related, music related, etc. And for this, we'll be happy to take your calls/emails naturally :)
See you in one week !
Dear Apsarans!
Finally wa recovered a bit from this very intense experience, which means you deserve our view on this first edition of Apsara Festival by Suntrip Records! The only right way to start is a BIG thank you to all that came to this festival and/or supported us! You created this unforgettable edition! The unique vibe, the huge amount of smiles, the mindbending music, the bouncing dancefloor from the first minute to the last and the family feeling was heartwarming and touching! For all of us, this was a unique and powerful experience which will echo in our souls until for eternity, and hopefully beyond!

As most of you probably know, we already had loads of experience with parties & smaller festival, but a festival in a country like Romania is... something else! We won't go in to details but it wasn't always easy. This means we learned a lot as organisers and we are motivated to solve the (small?) issues we for future editions! (yes, there will be more Apsaras!) We will make sure there are more showers that work all day, we will make a dancefloor for 1000 people so there is enough shade for sure, we will put a lot of water next to the dancefloor next time and we will make sure the bar guys do what they promised to do! Except for these issues we believe everything went smooth! Because of all the good vibes and the fact we see goa-trance is alive and kicking we are already planning a next edition of Apsara... When will that be? In 2020! Yes, we will do it every 2 years. We want this to be unique, we dont want to compete with our brothers of Zna Gathering and also on a personal level combining such an event yearly with a full time job is too heavy.
But ok, lets go back to what happened last few weeks! First of all, festivals dont appear out of nowhere! The amount of hours of work in such an event is huge, and because of that we want to thank our crew of builders! Without you this would NOT be possible! You might not get the recognition you guys deserve but believe us, you are in our hearts!!! Olivier Berckmoes, Leon Pagan, Francisco Lopes, Laura Nessa Telrùnya, Lorant, Paul, Apostol Viktor & Lisa!! But a party is nothing without good music! And well, I think the reviews are clear, everyone LOVED the music! So our artists are damn heroes! All of you did what you promised... play only the best psychedelic, melodic, acidic or dirty goa-trance! No full on, no progressive, no hi tech... only the purest goa! Thanks to all of you for this right mindset and this professionalism! And good music needs good sound! The soundguys of Jamie Bell were fantastic. Function One is one thing, but a sound technician non stop with a pc next to the artist to make sure every sound is perfect? Unique! We never had this before! And what would we do without volunteers? Nothing! Thanking them individually would be too much, but you know how you are! Last but not least we want to thank the people that made sure we also had a visually interesting experience: Artrance Visionary Collective, Lunar Deco and Margot Schaefer on the party and more specially, Rodolpho Morais from Brasil for all the artwork! The T shirts, the flyers, the announcements, everything was done by him! To end this thank session we want to send our regards to the mayor and local authorities of Ludos and Sibiu! This support was vital to host the festival!
The following weeks and months you will see a lot of video and picture material of us and our photographers (Isis Ra, Jonathan Jokke, Tomer,...) on the Apsara page below. Please share this as much as possible to attract more pure goa freaks for our next edition! Our goal is not to become a huge festival, but a cosy festival with the right people and right vibe, and all of you can help us with that! :) What happened here is now unfortunately history, but the future looks bright! Lets create an even more crazy edition (if possible?) and see you all in 2020!
Fabien Marsaud, Remus Rusu, Joske Vranken, Theo MawsKi, Ouwe Gouwe
Oww we've been through one of the most intense weeks of our lives!
As announced earlier we're working on two splendid releases: the Triquetra debut and a retrospective of Ray Castle & Collaborators (Insectoid, Rhythmystec). We'll make a spearate post about them in a couple of days, with extracts and pictures !
But right now we want to share some very good news : we are now opening the Apsara Festival 2018 presales:
http://tickets.apsara-festival.com Just in time for Christmas presents, right ?
They will also be available through our ambassadors from mid-January 2018.
Pricing strategy: We decided to work with 2 different prices, as not everyone has the same economic situation. We have "social" countries and we have "mainstream" countries. Like this we try to make sure everyone is able to make it to this pure goa-trance event!
The phases are as follows:
If all tickets in a phase are sold, the next phase automatically starts.
"Social" countries : We're offering tickets at a lower price exclusively for people in countries with more demanding economic situations. Pay attention, we will check your living address at the gates (eg: take a bill with you). "Social pricing" countries are:
Accepted payment means: VISA, Mastercard, Maestro/Bancontact, Carte Bleue, Paypal
Kids: Children can enter the festival for free up to their 13th birthday.
Ambassadors: for some people and in some countries it is NOT easy to have a bank card, or pay via paypal. For those countries, we have ambassadors as well. With them you can pay cash or on their local account. The ambassadors only start to work at Phase 1, so the 17th of january. We will have ambassadors in: Belgium, Brazil, France, Germany, Israel, and several central/eastern European countries. The list will be disclosed in the first days of January.
That's it for today, we'll leave you to your festival christmas preparations, see you very soon ! :)
As you may know, Suntrip Records has been granted the priviledge to be a Boom Ambassador for Belgium and Luxembourg for the 4th time!
The amount of tickets is limited but we cried and managed to get 190...then yesterday Boom granted us 60 extra, totaling 250 tickets, which is a pretty neat recognition that Boom likes Belgium, Belgium likes Boom, and Belgium knows how to party, yeah !!!
Ambassador tickets will be available on the 19th of December. To make it a pleasant experience for everyone, here are a few guidelines:
See you on tuesday !
Hello
This is with great pleasure that we can announce that Suntrip Records is going to be a Boom Ambassador for Belgium for the 4th time!
As you may already know, the amount of tickets is limited and the Boom ticketing platform suffered a cyber attack when it was aopen a few weeks ago. So you may be tempted to contact us "just in case"... But don't panic: Boom is currently assessing how/when to restart their online sales and they will notify the community 48 hours in advance.
We advise you to regularly check their news https://www.boomfestival.org/boom2018/news/boom-news/
and also subscribe to their newsletter: https://www.boomfestival.org/boom2018/
Regarding our role as the Belgian Boom Ambassador, here's a few guidelines Boom gave us:
If you are a Belgian citizen and already have questions (no reservation list please), you may contact us on boom@suntriprecords.com or +33 6 95 95 85 11 (speaks: EN/FR/ES - yes this is a French number, the Ambassador's job was already handled by Suntrip's frenchman when he was still living in Belgium...)
Other contacts at Boom's central office:
See you soon !
For the 2016 edition, Boom have stated that only 33.333 tickets would be available, therefore, people have rushed on the First and Second tickets sale phases, which are now sold out, and Boom is only able to sell full price (180€) tickets from now on.
Your only chance to get cheaper tickets (150€) remain the Ambassadors, AND the good news is we'll be Ambassadors for the Boom Festival 2016 for the third time. That means you'll be able to buy some Boom tickets from our online shop...from February 23rd to July 13th 2016 !
And as expected, we're flooded with reservation requests :) DAMN!
The Boom organization is duly aware of that and have told us they can accept reservations provided you give us BEFORE DECEMBER 15th:
Some attention points:
Hopefully, everything will be all right ;) Cheers !
